hi all,
i new this Qlustar i want to know how to add nodes into the cluster like stepes
in hwwizard it's says hw info missing
Hi Praveen,
the first step is to connect the hardware and simply turn it on and let it try to boot from the network. This might require configuring the bios / UEFI to attempt a nework boot.
Second go to Manage Hosts -> New Hosts. There should be an entry under Unknown MACs for the node then. Select it, fill out the other fields and add the node.
Third you need to click the Write Files button and write out the changed files so the new node can actually boot, which you should then do. During the boot process the node will report the detected hardware to qlumand. It will then appear in the tooltip when you hover over the node in the Enclosure View and the node should gain a green LED.
Now the HWWizard can be used to configure the node properly. The wizzard only works for nodes that have booted at least once and reported back their detected hardware.
More details can be found in the Admin and Qluman Guides.
Hope that helps. Goswin von Brederlow
