it's weird that you got this error, I can't reproduce it. Anyway it's not critical, just a script to setup convenience functions for running the Linpack as described in the 'First Steps Guide'. You can try to execute the following as your user on a compute or the FE node which will have the same effect:
$ /usr/lib/ql-hpl-tools/install-qsub-func.sh
