Hello List,
does Qlustar handle hardware threads? SLURM has the triple sockets/cores/threads, so I'd expect to be able to configure this somewhere. However, I couldn't find anything in the docs (or in QluMan).

there is the option for turning them on or off (Generic property "Hyper Threading").

For slurm, this is currently not supported from within QluMan, but it's on our issue list for a while. We hope to add support for this in time for the upcoming 10.1 release. If all nodes need HT you could use a line
NodeName=DEFAULT State=UNKNOWN ThreadsPerCore=2
and place it into the slurm.conf header of QluMan.
Best,
Roland

Sounds like a good workaround. I've employed it, and sinfo looks like I'd expect it to.
Thanks a lot & have a nice weekend,
