Hej,
I need to increase Open file limit on the nodes. Should I use customized "limits.conf" and follow admin guide "4.2.5. Adding directories, files, links"?
cat /etc/qlustar/common/image-files/my/limits.conf * soft nproc 10024 * hard nproc 10024 * soft nofile 50024 * hard nofile 50024 * soft memlock 255707144 * hard memlock 255707144
cat /etc/qlustar/common/image-files/destinations my/limits.conf /etc/security root:root 644
Is that a good way?
Cheers, Iggy

It's better to include an additional command like:
---------- cat >> /etc/security/limits.conf <<EOF
* soft nproc 10024 * hard nproc 10024 * soft nofile 50024 * hard nofile 50024 EOF -------------- in the rc.boot script you mentioned in you previous mail, since the values for memlock are dynamically created at boot time and no the same on every node.

Thanks for the tip and pointing out dynamic memlock value generation!
