Cannot create a new chroot
With Qlustar V12.0.6.0 I get the following error when trying to create a new chroot (similar thing happens if I try to clone/delete chroots): 2022-01-21 12:59:43,087 ERROR qlunet.Node Channel[('zmq_version_info', 6)].do_recv(): exception in request generator Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/qlunet/Node.py", line 151, in do_recv args = self._generator.send(msg) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/qluman-12/client/qt/ManageChroots/ManageChrootsWidget.py", line 370, in create self.create_exec() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/qluman-12/client/qt/ManageChroots/ManageChrootsWidget.py", line 393, in create_exec ExecuteWidget.create_chroot(cluster=self.cluster, name=name, desc=desc, server=server, File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/qluman-12/client/qt/RxEngine/ExecuteWidget.py", line 625, in create_chroot ExecuteWidget.generic_execute_request(cluster=cluster, title=title, request=request) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/qluman-12/client/qt/RxEngine/ExecuteWidget.py", line 608, in generic_execute_request t = ExecuteTabWidget.create_request_execute(cluster, request, w, hidden=hidden) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/qluman-12/client/qt/RxEngine/ExecuteTabWidget.py", line 639, in create_request_execute t = request["write_file"].hostlist KeyError: 'write_file'
I have the same problem on my side. If needed, I tried with qluman-12.0.5.0 and with this version creating or cloning chroots is working.

Dear Roland, thanks for your help, looking forward to try the fix. Will the new version be added to the repository? best Alessandro On 1/24/22 10:43, Roland Fehrenbacher wrote:

Will the new version be added to the repository? please use the singularity image, this is the only supported mode for the GUI. The updated qluman debs will be synced to the repo together with the next security upload.
