Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to have Xeon Phi hardware on a Qlustar-based cluster. I cannot see any module related with Xeon Phi during head node installation as it is the case for GPU or InfiniBand hardware, so the resulting CentOS image for compute nodes does not recognize the cards.
Thanks,

unfortunately there is no support for Intel MIC in Qlustar and there won't be in the future, since Intel MIC is a dead HW path.
Best,

Thanks for you response.

Is there any no supported way of manually adding such module for Xeon Phi in a Qlustar image? If any, I would be happy to try it out. I don't know if installing the required packages for Phi at /srv/apps/centos7 is the way to go...

you can try to install required rpms in the centos chroot under /srv/apps/chroots/centos7 (if you created it during installation).
Good luck,
