Hypothetically speaking, could the problems have been caused eg by a corrupted installation media. I've used RUFUS for generating the bootable USB-stick.
"What exactly are you planning to do with Qlustar?" Dont know, yet. What I do know, is that the learning curve will be steep, starting with command-line Linux etc
I've got bunch of servers in my home lab. Next task, I guess, is to install the IB-adapters and the IB-switch to hook the servers together.
